Love the product, great technology! Visually pleasing with excellent special effects. Everything was enclosed for installation, loved the extra parts and measurement tool. Installation went well and the lights blended perfectly into the soffit. I had one issue and contacted customer service, once I was put in touch with the correct person I was extremely pleased with the outcome.

These lights cannot be scheduled natively, you'll need separate timer, home assistant or other work around to schedule even basic on/off. The lights cannot be controlled in segments, for example if you want to only light arches or corners, it's the whole strip or nothing. Final pain point is be prepared to do your own splicing for a clean install as not enough connectors are included for anything other than the most basic install.

Outside of that, the LEDs seem high quality, produce great colors and have smooth animations.

I’ve been looking at permanent lights for my home for over a year. There was some other brands that I was looking at but the moment I heard Nanoleaf was going to drop theirs. I decided to wait. These lights are so bright. I’ve had them up for two days and no less than 10 neighbors have come by and complimented . And I’m just in my personal testing phase doing Halloween colors cause Christmas is my season. Call me a Nanoleaf fanboy. I have tons of Nanoleaf products and that is my go to brand because it just works. Everything seamlessly syncs together and Apple HomeKit for me is a must. These are the only permanent lights on the market right now that have a direct link to Apple HomeKit. After buying this and only setting up half of my house because of the sheer size of my eaves, I realize I need to order one more kit. I love this product.
