Love it, just needs a bit better software

While it technically works when your 5 GHz and 2.4 GHz networks have different SSIDs, it throws a bunch of errors first, so that should be fixed. It also ought to have supported Thread at least for basic commands like on/off in addition to WiFi.

Amazing

The multi light function is amazing a beautiful. Used it for a shelf in my bedroom. Would highly recommend this over Philip hue. The set up was easy, the quality is 10x better and the price cannot be beat. Will be switching all my products to Nanoleaf from Philip hue

Scenes Not Compatible with Apple Home - Not a Smart Device

Beautiful and exactly what I wanted in a light strip. That is until I got one. The scenes do not sync to Apple Home as all my other Nanoleaf devices do (I have 8 Canvas’s and 8 of their original light strips). You can’t even create a schedule for the scenes in the Nanoleaf app because it doesn’t support their Essential devices. The only thing you can do via Apple Home or Siri is turn it on and off. Not at all what I want from a smart device and not what I’ve come to expect from Nanoleaf.

Never received the item and eventually had to get a refund

Was super upset about it. Took about 3 months for the refund. It’s just a shame cause I had even preordered this lightstrip the minute it was released
