Recently purchased and installed the Nanoleaf A19|E26 Smart Bulb. Very happy with them. They work exactly as I expected.
I've been a Nanoleaf customer since the early days of the self-dimming bulbs. They make interesting product which doesn't disappoint.
The lights I purchased frequently disconnect from both my Apple HomeKit and my Google Home, and power cycling to reconnect does not fix the issue.
Bulbs work well in Thread network. Percent of brightness is woefully inaccurate. Firmware update process is unreliable and a pain. iOS application is okay for basic needs but UI is a bear for anything else. Can't say much for colour fidelity as I lack tools or anything to compare with. That said, colours didn't seem to match on-screen selections most of the time. Documentation is near non-existant and support articles are mostly useless. Technical support is responsive and useful. I would like to see more product information, such as standby power consumption.
Cool lights when they work. The nanoleaf app will either, take way too long to connect, connect to 1 or 2 out of 3, say it's connected when it's not, or just say unable to connect. Also, these have worked with Google home 2 out of 10 times. I've tried connecting thru Bluetooth and thread. I've switched back to dumb bulbs.
Nanoleaf essentials smart bulbs are the most reliable smart bulbs I've ever used. Integrate seamlessly with Apple home kit and don't loose connectivity like other smart bulbs.
