Support will not answer me. Still have broken items.

I live in a rainy part of the US and have had two of these strands fail due to moisture getting into a bulb after about four months of mild summer/autumn and two months of the rainy season. Nanoleaf has replaced one so far but I haven't heard from them in over two weeks regarding the second. I've applied silicone to try to seal the bulbs properly but I would strongly recommend looking elsewhere for hardware that can handle being drizzled on.

Reached out to Nanoleaf for support on a defective purchase. Ended up being ghosted after first email exchange. Sent a follow-up email, still no correspondence 5 days later. Reached out again via chat and was told to wait to hear back via email. Expectations on support after sales truly falls short especially in the communication department. What's even more outrageous, is they want "A video that illustrates the issue. If the video file is too big to attach here, you can upload it to Google Drive, iCloud (cloud storage services) or YouTube, Photobucket, Wetransfer" - I JUST BOUGHT THE PRODUCT AND ITS NOT WORKING. Somehow I have signed myself up for an assignment - just requesting a simple exchange!

I purchased three sets of these lights and they were wonderful….for about three weeks. Then many of the lights would not come on. I contacted support and jumped through numerous hoops and explained my issues multiple times and to multiple people. I took pictures and sent documentation. Then I waited months for the issue to be resolved. After dozens of emails I was finally sent a replacement string of lights. I was happy and relieved that the ordeal with this company was over. And it is OVER. The replacement lights also DO NOT WORK!!! I had asked Nanoleaf to never contact me again, but apparently everyone wants a review. Well now they have it.

I love the form factor on these, and the color reproduction is great! Some minor gripes keep it from being five stars - the length of cord from controller to first light is too short (the lights are at the ceiling of our patio and almost no one can reach the controller); when powered on half the time they forget their prior setting; you can’t set themes as part of HomeKit scenes (I guess this is a Matter feature that doesn’t exist yet); and there’s no way to program just fixed light colors (like alternating red/green for example). Most of these except the cord length are likely future software updates and I look forward to then!
