The bulbs work great with HomeKit. They’re very responsive and really demo how well thread works. Unfortunately, HomeKit is somewhat poor in lighting controls for RGB bulbs and the Nanoleaf app if terrible.

It’s clunky, doesn’t respond about half the time, and I can’t get about half of my bulbs to update to the latest firmware. The app is also just not user friendly or intuitive so even when it does work, it’s painful to use.

I hope they’ll take a page out of Wiz or Hue’s book and redesign an app more like that. Then I can rate this higher.

These are my first thread devices for my HomeKit setup. I replaced some hue lights and the Nanoleaf lights are far more responsive and much brighter as well. The price per bulb is quite affordable! Highly recommend these bulbs.
