After a very long and confusing set-up process (definitely impossible to do alone), I realized that the controller did not work. The controller connects the lights to the app and wifi, so without them all the lights did was glow a soft white. I submitted a customer service request for a new part and, after almost a week of very slow back and forth, the representative finally confirmed that my controller was broken and asked for my address so she could ship a new part. After I sent her my information, I never heard back. I submitted two more customer support requests and never heard back from any of those. Finally, almost two weeks later (and running up to the return deadline), I had a friend submit a customer support request asking for a return label and he heard back almost right away. So it seems that they were purposefully not getting back to me, possibly so I would get the new part after the 30 day return window. Fortunately I am able to use that return label to return the lights - although I still have not heard back from any customer service representative directly. One quick other warning: when taking down the panels they tore a HUGE chunk of my drywall of my walls. tldr; I strongly do not recommend these lights
